Chloride Introduces UPS Solutions Leasing Program
Chloride is pleased to announce a leasing program to help customers acquire Chloride UPS solutions on advantageous terms. The primary focus will be on lease-to-own (captial leasing). The program will be offered through Chloride's partner, Beacon Funding, a well-established, privately held leasing company located in the Chicago area.

Controlled Power Company
Controlled Power announces the release of the NEW ELC Single Phase Lighting Inverter. This EL Compact is available from 600 Watt to 2kW with the smallest footprint on the market! The ELC is true, on-line double conversion inverter technology and replaces Controlled Power's ELN model.

Current Technology Releases CurrentGuard Flush Mount SPD
Current Technology is excited to release the CurrentGuard Flush Mount (CGFM). The CGFM is loaded with standard and optional features in a uniquely sized housing measuring 13"h x 4"w x 4"d. The enclosure is a compact NEMA 1 steel enclosure allowing cable entry from top and both sides for flexible mounting to virtually any panelboard or disconnect application. 40kA and 60kA per mode of single impulse surge current are offered with component-level fusing per MOV. Both of these models are Full UL 1449 3rd Edition Compliant as Type 1 SPDs and have the long standard warranty of period of 10 years combined with DTS-2 Field Test Capabilities anytime after initial installation. Current Technology's Surge Protection Devices are Type 1 UL 1449 3.0 Listed
All of Current Technology's SPDs are UL 1449 3.0 Listed as Type 1 Devices with a Nominal Discharge Current Rating (In) of 20kA, the highest available current rating for this new test requirement. Type 1 SPDs can be installed on the line or load side of the main service disconnect. The major change to UL 1449 is the addition of the Nominal Discharge Current Test (In). This is a stress test where the unit under test is subjected to several surges and temporary over voltage events to stress the surge protector.

Tech Brief: Starline Busway B225 and B400 Systems carry a standard short circuit current rating of 22,000 RMS symmetrical amps. Normally, the available fault current must be 22 kA or below at the power feed of the Busway. There are circumstances when teh available fault current exceeds 22kA. Please contact Protech Power for a copy of the brief that gives an overview of applying Starline busway under those conditions, up to fault currents of 50kA and the key factors that make this possible.
